Are you serious Danny? Was she vetted? Did you check her references? Do you like her job performance in other areas? If the answer is yes, then keep her, and show her how to separate the items properly and give her another chance. If she is doing a good job in other areas, all the more reason to keep her. If her previous employer(s) told you she can't do laundry, then don't expect her to do it, although in my opinion, doing laundry would be part of the job.Did she do it because she's mad at you for some reason (thinking passive-aggressive)? If after being shown how to properly sort items for washing, she still messes things up, then it's ok to replace her. If you don't want to or have the time to teach her, give her written instructions. Many employers have specific instructions for what they want cleaning personnel to do. Just be grateful she didn't put the bath carpet in the dishwasher with the fine china!
