Hi Joe, Crocheting is a wonderful hobby! You could learn to make a sweater, or blanket, or some kind of outfit for your pet. Surely the club would welcome a younger person to join them. They can regale you with so many life stories they had experienced in their youth! But, if that doesn't interest you, then just call or better yet, walk in and cancel. No one would hold it against you, after all, the head of this club wouldn't want to be accused of reverse ageism. (hee hee!!)
