Hello Trina, You may not have dated in awhile but besides being rude, selfish, self centered, have a lack of etiquette and all out jerk, your date should not have been on a date at all! The best thing for you would be to thank him for the date, then promptly leave. This way, at least you would have had the good manners to thank him before getting out of dodge. Maybe he wouldn't have missed your leaving since solving the puzzle was more important. Hope there wasn't a second date!
